Jonathan Barthelet, MD

INTERNAL MEDICINE PHYSICIAN

Dr. Jonathan Barthelet is a board certified Internal Medicine physician who recently worked as a primary care physician within the UCLA Extensivist Program, a medical home that care for high-risk, complex patients who are more likely to be hospitalized. He is particularly interested in clinical informatics and providing high value care.

Dr. Barthelet received his medical degree from Stony Brook School of Medicine in New York, where he earned the Alpha Omega Alpha honor award. He then completed his internal medicine residency at UCLA, where he participated in the resident informatics group for two years. He earlier received his bachelor's degree in psychology from UC Santa Barbara.

Dr. Barthelet is a native French speaker who was raised in the Bay Area and lived in San Francisco for 10 years. He is a father of two, and when he is not working he enjoys spending time with his family, including two dogs, running, woodworking, and taking things apart to see how they work.
